Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

The story follows the player as they uncover the dark history of the kingdom of Drangleic, where the land is cursed by the gods. The player must navigate through treacherous landscapes and fight against formidable enemies to uncover the truth behind the curse.

Gameplay has been slightly altered with the removal of certain safe zones and the addition of new NPCs and enemies, including the Forlorn. The placement of enemies has also been changed to create a new game dynamic for returning players. Online and campaign modes have had tweaks to balance gameplay and improve matchmaking. Additionally, graphics and item descriptions have been enhanced.

The PC, PS4, and Xbox One versions have upgraded graphics, sound, and performance compared to the original version. For these platforms, online multiplayer has also been expanded to support up to 6 players.
