Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is the eighth main game in the Tekken fighting game series. Every character has his own short story line in the game. The player follows their chosen character through a unique storyline, with two different game modes to play: Story Mode and Arcade Mode.
Story Mode allows players to experience the story of their selected character, while Arcade Mode features versus battles against other opponents. One new feature is 'Tag Assaults', which can be done simultaneously by both characters participating in the combo at the same time. The game also supports stereoscopic 3D on both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions.
