This game is based on Fairy Dust's adult animation video "Cream Lemon Part 10: Star Trap". It generally follows the main plot: Ran and Kanata of the Earth Federation Fleet are a girl duo with ESP abilities. One day, the two of them are ordered to destroy a mysterious plant planet with their ship "Mischief". This botanical planet has a very stiff exterior and is very impervious to any weapons. It has only abducted female members on cruisers near Neptune and space stations. Now it is passing through Jupiter and is approaching the Earth.

Cream Lemon Star Trap is an adult Japanese text adventure with graphics that uses a noun + verb or verb + noun command input system. It supports both Kana input or Romaji input. Also, frequently used commands can be selected from the command menu on the right by pressing the Shift + * key. You can save the game by pressing the 'ESC' key on the game screen and load save game by pressing the 'ESC' key while on the title screen.

"Fairy Dust", who produced the original animation of this work, created a Remake of this game in 1996 for the PC-9801. The main outline of the story and the part where Ran and Kanata appear are the same. However, it has a male protagonist and he is Ran and Kanata's superior officer. The number of original characters has also increased.
