Meltdown

Meltdown is an unreleased Atari 2600 prototype developed by 20th Century Fox in the early 1980s. Originally titled Atom Smasher, the game was renamed Meltdown before being cancelled amid the video game market crash. It featured arcade-style shooting gameplay using the Atari light gun, with a Cold War-themed setting where players defended against incoming missiles. Although never officially released, the prototype and promotional materials have surfaced online, offering a glimpse of its graphics and design.
