Xenophobe is set in space where a distress call from orbiting stations alerts colonists to the Xenos threat. A lone ship escapes with a battered pilot who shares his terrifying encounter with acid-spitting creatures that emerge from pods. To combat this menace, a small team of engineers must fight their way through infected space stations.
Xenophobe combines side-scrolling shooter action with platform elements. Players assemble a group of engineers and navigate each station, aiming to clear it or abandon it entirely. Initially equipped with standard laser firepower, they can collect additional weapons, such as Phasers, Lightning Rifles, Poofer guns, and bombs, to aid in their quest.
