Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is an update of Ninja Gaiden 3 . It includes all the downloadable content made available on other platforms as well as some new changes. A new playable character, Ayane from the Dead or Alive series, with her own story mode chapters, has been added to the game. Online co-operative mode where both Ryu and Ayane are playable is also a new feature.
The gameplay involves action-packed combat, using the Wii U Game Pad for tasks such as executing Ninpo, and displaying the combo chart. Players can upgrade weapons, Ninpo, character health and move set using the Karma functionality, which was introduced in previous games of the series. Other changes include improvements to AI, additional weapon and attack types, enemies, and battle arenas.
