About

In the Crash Bandicoot franchise, Crunch Bandicoot is a genetically modified bandicoot who debuted as an antagonist in The Wrath of Cortex before becoming an ally. In the LEGO Alpha Team video game, Crunch is the team's demolition expert who helps defeat Ogel.
In the LEGO Alpha Team (2000) release, this character utilizes immense physical strength to clear barriers, break walls, and manipulate heavy objects, serving as a vital asset in tactical puzzle-solving missions.
Within the Crash Bandicoot universe, the character's design and personality draw inspiration from Mr. T, characterized by an obsession with physical fitness and healthy living. In Crash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex (2001 for PlayStation 2; 2002 for Xbox and GameCube), he serves as the primary boss of each hub world, utilizing the elemental masks of Earth, Water, Fire, and Air to battle the player in distinct arena encounters.
Following these events, he transitioned into a core member of the heroic cast. In Crash Nitro Kart (2003), he participates as a playable heavyweight driver for Team Bandicoot, utilizing high-speed karts to defend Earth from Emperor Velo XXVII. His comedic, health-conscious persona was further developed in Crash Tag Team Racing (2005), where players can interact with him in the Von Clutch's MotorWorld theme park, purchase his character-specific upgrades, and merge his vehicle with others during races.
