Founded in Montreal by key creators behind acclaimed 2D side-scrollers, the studio established its reputation by refining classic gameplay mechanics. This expertise is evident in Curses 'N Chaos (2017), a wave-based brawler focusing on tight combat arenas, and Flinthook (2017), which combined platforming with randomized space-pirate raids, receiving further distribution in 2018. The cooperative shooter Mercenary Kings (2018) showcased their depth in weapon customization and tactical platforming.

The studio's mechanical versatility expanded with Panzer Paladin (2020), an action-platformer centered on piloting a power armor suit, which later received a physical Panzer Paladin [Collector's Edition] (2021). These projects laid the technical and artistic groundwork for their major contribution to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise. With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (2022), the developers leveraged their historical connection to the IP—having previously worked on the 2007 Game Boy Advance TMNT title—to deliver a modern continuation of the classic 1980s and 1990s arcade beat 'em ups, featuring cooperative multiplayer and authentic aesthetic details from the animated series.
