Operating as a publishing label under Maximum Entertainment (formerly Maximum Games), the company established its market presence by partnering with independent studios to deliver physical and digital releases. The 2018 fantasy action game Extinction, developed by Iron Galaxy, tasked players with defending cities from colossal ogres, with the Extinction Deluxe Edition incorporating all post-launch downloadable content. That same year, the publisher expanded its multiplayer portfolio with Pocket Trap's side-scrolling action game Ninjin: Clash of Carrots and the 3D arena battler Override: Mech City Brawl. The latter received a specialized retail release, Override: Mech City Brawl [Super Charged Mega Edition], which bundled the base game with exclusive cosmetic items and additional playable mechs.

These early releases laid the groundwork for high-profile collaborations within established and original intellectual properties. The publisher facilitated the global launch of the hand-drawn role-playing game Cris Tales, the surreal first-person horror title In Sound Mind, and the cooperative beat 'em up Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons. Through these partnerships, the label focused on bringing niche genre titles to major console platforms and PC.
