Serenity Forge LLC
An American video game publisher and developer known for publishing physical and digital releases of indie games.
About
Serenity Forge LLC is an indie game publisher that has handled physical and digital releases for several notable titles. They published physical editions and releases for games such as West of Loathing, Neversong, Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, and Lifeless Planet.
The publisher's catalog expanded significantly through partnerships aimed at bringing critically acclaimed digital indie titles to physical media. In 2018, the company distributed the physical release of the comedic role-playing game West of Loathing, following it in 2019 with the premium West of Loathing [Collector's Edition].
During 2019, the company diversified its physical portfolio by handling multiple editions of atmospheric and narrative-driven titles. This included the physical distribution of the action-adventure game Neversong alongside the specialized Neversong [Collector's Edition]. For the surreal narrative adventure Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, the publisher produced three distinct physical versions: the standard Where the Water Tastes Like Wine, a premium Where the Water Tastes Like Wine [Steelbook Edition], and a comprehensive Where the Water Tastes Like Wine [Collector's Edition]. Additionally, the company managed the physical release of the sci-fi exploration title Lifeless Planet in 2019. These releases established the company's role in preserving digital-first indie games through high-quality, collectible physical formats.
