About

Toplitz Productions GmbH is known for publishing simulation and survival titles, most notably the historical life simulator Medieval Dynasty and the desert survival game Starsand. The company has also published management and adventure titles, including Mad Games Tycoon, Airport Simulator 2019, and the console releases of Beholder: Complete Edition and Another Sight.

Based in Irdning, Austria, the publisher established its market presence by partnering with international indie developers to bring niche experiences to global audiences. For the 2016 industry simulator Mad Games Tycoon, developed by Eggcode, and the 2018 dystopian adventure Beholder: Complete Edition, the company facilitated key console ports that expanded the reach of these titles to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Similarly, they managed the 2019 multi-platform distribution of Lunar Great Wall Studios' steampunk fantasy Another Sight.

The company's collaborative model is highly visible in its relationship with Polish developer Render Cube. Their partnership on Medieval Dynasty led to a successful early access phase starting in 2020 before its full 2022 launch, spawning a broader "Dynasty" franchise that combines survival, RPG, and city-building mechanics. This survival portfolio was further diversified through Tunnel Vision Studio's Starsand in 2022, which challenged players with harsh desert environments, alongside the specialized vehicle management gameplay of Airport Simulator 2019. Through these targeted releases, the publisher has solidified its role as a bridge between specialized PC developers and the broader console gaming market.
