FOR DEALERS AND COLLECTORS WHO SELL

Sell retro games on eBay, straight from your inventory

retro.gold is the seller's cockpit, not the marketplace: it creates, prices and manages your eBay listings and turns sales into orders, invoices and labels. The sale itself happens on eBay, under eBay's terms and buyer protection, and retro.gold takes no commission on it.

What the cockpit does for you

Listings from your inventory

Single items, bundles and lots, or a quick list for a whole shelf. Title, item specifics and completeness come from the catalogue and your own grades and photos.

Priced against the cheapest live offer

By default a listing goes a few percent under the cheapest fixed-price offer for the same game and completeness on your eBay site, item price plus shipping into your country. You see every comparable offer, discard the ones that are not the game, and set your own price any time.

A margin floor from your purchase price

The copy's cost and your margin settings set the lowest price the automation proposes. Below it, it tells you so instead of listing cheap.

Best Offer with room to negotiate

Switch on Best Offer and a negotiation room lifts the listed price, so an accepted offer still lands where you wanted it. Auctions follow your own rules.

Free shipping, priced into the item

Move part or all of the shipping charge into the item price; buyers see free shipping and pay the same total.

Sales become orders

A sold listing turns into an order with invoice or credit note (margin scheme included), a DHL or Sendcloud label and feedback for the buyer, all in one place.

Stock, prices and sales stay in sync

Sold copies leave your inventory, changed stock resyncs to eBay, and your eBay purchases can be imported as stock with their purchase price.

Books your tax adviser will accept

Purchase book, expense invoices, monthly reports and the DAC7 reporting thresholds tracked per calendar year.

What it costs

retro.gold charges no commission on your sales and never holds your money. The buyer pays you through eBay, as always.
The seller cockpit is part of Pro: $22.90 per month or $199 per year, VAT included, cancel at the end of any period.
eBay's own selling fees apply to each sale, exactly as they would without retro.gold.
Photo scans are counted in credits: Pro includes a monthly allowance, credit packs never expire.

Who protects the buyer

Every sale is concluded on eBay between you and your buyer. eBay's user agreement and the eBay Money Back Guarantee apply, and your eBay feedback is what buyers see.
retro.gold is not a party to the sale: it holds no funds, takes no commission and does not stand between you and your buyer.
Offers between members on a collector's shop page are a direct contact, as our terms describe. Payments through retro.gold are not offered today.

Where the prices come from

Market prices are PriceCharting's recorded sales for your marketplace region, aggregated as a median so a single expensive copy does not distort the figure, and refreshed daily.
Your own listing price is benchmarked against live eBay offers for the same game and completeness on your eBay site, item price plus shipping into your country, with imports and mismatched cheap items flagged.
Your purchase price and your margin settings set a floor the automation never undercuts.

eBay sites

You list on your own eBay marketplace, in its currency, with shipping into its country.
The deals scanner, which flags listings priced well under market for sourcing stock, covers ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, ebay.fr, ebay.it, ebay.es, ebay.pl, ebay.ca.
