Shortly after the release a microtransaction system for multiplayer was introduced. In December 2016 a supply drop system was added to the multiplayer as well, along with customization items such as emblems, calling cards, and character skins, in addition to new varieties of weapon camouflage. Further guns and melee weapons were also introduced eventually.
