Doko Demo Issyo is a hybrid of virtual pet and chat toy. It features several characters collectively referred to as “Pokepi” (Pocket People), including a white cat named Toro Inoue , a rabbit named Jun Mihara, and a dog named Pierre Yamamoto. Toro went on to be a PlayStation mascot in Japan. The game revolves around the use of the PocketStation accessory to take your Pokepi around with you, where you can chat and interact with them.
The gameplay of Doko Demo Issyo is quite simple. You have to feed, bathe, and play with your Pokepi, which will keep you company and make you happy. The game also includes a calendar system, allowing you to track the days and plan activities for your Pokepi. As you care for your Pokepi, they will grow and change, keeping you engaged throughout the experience.
