Ecco the Dolphin follows the story of a dolphin named Ecco , who embarks on a mission to set things right after an alien force known as the Foe damages the Earth's defense system and alters history for the worse. The Foe seeks to end the peaceful coexistence between humans and dolphins, and it is up to Ecco to stop them.
The gameplay of Ecco the Dolphin is a 3D underwater adventure that challenges players to explore over 25 aquatic environments. Ecco must communicate with other ocean creatures, learn to manipulate his environment, and use his abilities to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies in order to succeed in his quest.
