Oil Barons

In Oil Barons the goal is to become the wealthiest player by skillfully discovering and drilling for oil. You survey various regions – from icy polar areas to scorching deserts – for their oil potential, select the best drilling sites, and execute your strategy. Political decisions such as bans on drilling in protected areas can disrupt your plans. In addition to the classic mode, there are options like reality mode with more realistic costs and randomized oil fields, as well as customizable modes. The game resembles a board game with a large grid and pieces, while the computer handles bookkeeping and adds random elements.
