War of Nerves! , released in 1970, is an action-packed game for the Magnavox Odyssey 2 console. In this capture-the-flag-style game, you play as the general of one of two armies: Northwestonia or Southeasternia. Your objective is to outmaneuver and defeat the enemy general, capturing them instead of a flag.

The gameplay is fast-paced, with your army's robots trying to stun the enemy's robots. The more robots are stunned, the faster they'll move. You can repair your own robots by touching them, but be careful not to get caught in the line of fire. The battlefield is dotted with trees that can hinder or help your progress, depending on which army you control.

Each battle ends when one robot reaches the enemy general, resulting in a point for the winning army. The first army to win ten battles wins the war, and a new game begins. With its unique blend of strategy and quick reflexes, War of Nerves! is an exciting challenge for anyone looking for a taste of classic action-adventure gaming.


