The Burai Fighter Deluxe game follows the story of the Burai, an evil alien race who have launched a plan to conquer the universe using their army of robo-mutants. It's up to the player to stop them and save the day.
In this scrolling shooter game, players are armed with a variety of weapons, including different guns like lasers and missiles, as well as a powerful cobalt bomb that can clear entire screens. The levels feature side- and vertical-scrolling layouts with pre-designed patterns.
Burai Fighter Deluxe is part of the Burai series and was released for the Game Boy console in 1991. Unlike the NES version, which included top-down stages, this game features a versus multiplayer mode that can be played using a link cable.
