Press the A Button to jump, press the B Button to super kick, stand next to an object and press the B Button to kick it, press the A Button to jump and press the B Button at the top of the jump for a spinning kick, and press and hold the A Button in the air after obtaining the special ability to glide.

Press the A Button to jump, jump to a hanging vine and climb using the up and down arrows on the Control Pad, quickly tap the B Button to throw the Shield in front of the character, tap the B Button while holding up to perform an upward shield throw, press up on the Control Pad to make Arthur shield above his head instead of in the facing direction, and use the Control Pad to move left or right after obtaining the Shield Surf ability in Water or Lava.

Story Scenes take you through the game; press the A Button to advance through scenes and press START to skip all scenes.

Music Volume allows the music to be toggled on and off, and SFX Volume allows the sound effects to be toggled on and off.

Collect magical items and bring them to Merlin in exchange for a special power-up or ability.

Collect enough Fairies throughout the levels to power up Merlin, who needs magical power to teleport the characters back to Far Far Away.

Health restores one Health Bubble.

If you find a locked door, look nearby for a Key, which you may sometimes need to obtain by defeating an enemy.

Short Logs help players access hard-to-reach areas, can be stacked, and allow other items to be placed on them.
