The story of Prince of Persia Two Thrones begins with the Prince's return to Babylon after many adventures, accompanied by his new bride Kaileena. However, their hopes for a peaceful life together are short-lived, as they arrive in Persia to find the land devastated by war. The Vizier captures and murders Kaileena, leading to the release of the Sands of Time, which grants him incredible powers.
The Prince must now face his greatest challenge yet, fighting to reclaim his kingdom from the clutches of a madman. As he battles to save Persia, he is also struggling with his own inner demons, as the Dark Prince – an alter ego born from his connection with the Sands – threatens to consume him.
Players of Prince of Persia Two Thrones will experience a familiar blend of action and adventure gameplay, similar to its predecessors, The Sands of Time and Warrior Within. However, new innovations include the character of the Dark Prince, who occasionally possesses the main protagonist, offering unique combos and moves. The game also introduces the "Speed Kill" ability, allowing players to quickly dispatch enemies in a stealthy manner.
