As the mayor of a new city, SimCity 2000 lets you fully customize the terrain before building your metropolis. The graphics are isometric, offering a unique view of your growing town. You'll be responsible for managing resources and keeping your citizens happy as they go about their daily lives.
The gameplay revolves around building and maintaining infrastructure, such as roads, buildings, and utilities. You can also create "light" zones, subways, hospitals, colleges, zoos, and arcos - actual cities within your city - to cater to the diverse needs of your population. Additionally, you'll have the option to trade goods with neighboring towns and read newspapers to stay informed about local events.
