Lemans is a racing game where your goal is to collect as many points as possible by overtaking other cars before time runs out. You must reach 20,000 points within 60 seconds to extend your drive for another 60 seconds when the clock reaches zero.
The gameplay involves driving horizontally up the screen, which scrolls as you move, and pressing the fire button to accelerate and releasing it to slow down. You can also move left or right, but not forwards or backwards.
