Novastorm is a rail shooter set in a distant future where humans have left Earth to travel to the stars. However, their journey took longer than expected, and computers took control of navigation, leaving humans with nothing to do but sleep. The mysterious Scarab-X forces then attacked, forcing humanity's last hope for survival to take action.
Players must blast enemies against a cinematic backdrop while avoiding obstacles in the environment. The game features collision detection, where the player-controlled fighter takes damage if it moves into the path of a pre-rendered obstacle. With its unique blend of action and strategy, Novastorm challenges players to stop the Scarab-X forces before they can take over the world.
