Players take on the role of Disney's The Haunted Mansion protagonist, Zeke Holloway , as he explores the spooky mansion in order to solve a mystery and put the spirits to rest. With the help of Madame Leota and six friendly ghosts, Zeke must collect Shriveled Souls to fill his Beacon of Souls lantern.
The gameplay involves solving puzzles, completing tasks, and helping to rid the house of its evil spirits. As Zeke progresses through the game, he will receive Soul Gems from his ghostly companions, which can be used to amplify the power of his Soul Beacon. This allows him to face the main spirit, Atticus Thorn , in a final showdown.
Disney's The Haunted Mansion was released on the Playstation 2 console on 24 November 2000, and is an action-packed adventure game that combines exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat to create an engaging gameplay experience.
