Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny introduces two protagonists, Aden and Sonja, who are stuck together after mysterious circumstances. They find themselves on a strange new island with no way to return home. You play as Aden, befriending the locals and exploring the oceans on your Golem to uncover the truth and restore Sonja's body. The game allows you to engage in various activities like farming, cooking, crafting, and fishing.

Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny is the second installment in its series to be released on the PS3. It brings several enhancements and new features. Your Golem enables ocean exploration around Fenith Island. The combat has been updated from that of Frontier , introducing Dual Blades and Katanas as new weapons. You can unlock up to 4 farms, each tied to a season. The Winter farm functions as a mine for ores and gems, while the others feature seasonal crops. Nearly the entire game is now voice acted. You can play as a Male protagonist, with an option to switch to Female in the endgame and marry one of four Males.


