Aerial Assault is a shoot'em up game where you play as the Freedom Fighter, tasked with destroying five targets. These include the Vinsk, CB-53 Bomber, "El", and two cliff fortresses. During each of the five missions, you'll face various enemies such as enemy jets, choppers, submarines, jeeps, parachute bombs, and others that need to be destroyed.
Aerial Assault features power-ups that allow you to upgrade or downgrade your firepower by shooting spinning fighters or small flying helicopters. There are three difficult settings: "Normal", "Hard", and a harder option. If you choose the easiest setting, you won't be able to complete the game.
