Shaquille O'Neal is drawn into an alternate dimension where he must fight his way through 11 opponents in Shaq Fu , a game that combines action and adventure elements. According to the story, Shaq is visited by a local man who believes only he can save his grandson. The local man explains that only Shaq can help, and that's why he's been brought into this world.
The gameplay in Shaq Fu is similar to popular fighting games like Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat. Players control Shaq as he battles his way through opponents, using a combination of jumping and punching skills. The game features rotoscoping graphics that accurately represent Shaq's size at 7'2". Additionally, players can enjoy the game in both single-player mode, where they guide Shaq through the story, and multiplayer modes, where one human player controls Shaq while another plays as a friend or foe.
