Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of The Moon takes place after a catastrophic event that wiped out most of humanity. Young Seto finds a note from his deceased grandfather urging him to travel to the red tower that lights up the night sky. Along the way, he meets a young, silver-haired girl named Ren who drives him to journey through the ruined world in search of companionship.
Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins of The Moon is an action-adventure game with light RPG elements and a focus on exploring desolate environments. Players navigate empty surroundings, fight ghosts, and collect items like sketches and short stories that reveal the last moments of those lost in the great catastrophe. Seto explores as a third-person character, relying on his flashlight to interact with the environment and solve puzzles. The Wii Remote's flashlight is crucial for illumination, uncovering hidden enemies, and detecting sounds.
The Nunchuck controls Seto's movements, allowing him to walk, sneak around, crouch, and enter first-person perspective for a better view of the surroundings. Additional weapons can be picked up throughout the game, including sticks, an iron pipe, a bow, a hammer, a bamboo sword, and a katana.
