The Ghost Recon: Island Thunder follows the story of an elite team of U.S. Army Green Berets, known as the Ghosts, as they are sent to Cuba as part of a UN peacekeeping force. Their mission is to destroy the rebel forces and their mercenary leaders in order to secure the elections for a free Cuba.
The game features action-packed gameplay with an emphasis on strategy and teamwork. Players control a squad of elite commandos, working together to complete objectives and defeat enemy forces. The single-player campaign takes players through various locations across Cuba, while multiplayer mode allows for competitive play against other players online.
