NBA Ballers: Chosen One is a sequel to NBA Ballers: Phenom and a continuation of the long-running Midway games dating back to NBA Jam . Once again, the player must play as a young, up-and-coming street basketball player, going against the top sixty-five NBA Superstars in 1-on-1, 2-on-2 or 1-on-1-on-1 street basketball.
The gameplay involves building up a meter by using a series of combos to perform special moves such as Shut-Em-Down Super Moves and Act-a-Fool combos. These moves can be used to steal the ball, block shots, or pull off impressive dunks.
The game also features online play and downloadable content, including new items and clothing for your "Create-A-Baller" character. The soundtrack includes music from Chuck D and Just Blaze, with thirty custom tracks that adapt to the game's momentum.
