The 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa game is the official title of the soccer tournament held in South Africa. The player gets to guide their chosen nation through the most important football event, just like in previous years.

Players can now also participate in the qualification stages with a team from their region, giving them more options and variety. Another new feature is the "Story of Qualifying" mode, which puts players at a crucial moment in a country's qualifying campaign and asks them to recreate it.
