EA's long running college football franchise, NCAA Football 09 , returns, featuring roster updates as well as brand new animations and offensive/defensive plays. It features the standard Dynasty Mode, Exhibition, Multiplayer and now has the option to play football games with team mascots in full uniform. It also features minigames to train QBs, RBs as well as linebackers and even kickers.
There is also online capabilities for the Xbox 360 version where players can share files and stats with others as well as play in exhibition games against each other. Players can also play an online dynasty with the ability to play with 11 players online and pick their own schedule up to 60 seasons.
The game's Dynasty Mode allows players to create and manage their own team, making decisions on coaching staff, player recruitment and training, as well as competing in regular season games. Exhibition mode allows for one-off matches against other teams, while Multiplayer enables head-to-head competition with friends or online opponents.
