In Neo-Paris, a city of the future, memories can be shared and manipulated through technology. A woman known as Nilin is employed by a company called Memorise, who specialises in stealing and altering memories. But when her own memory is erased, she joins forces with a group of rebels fighting against Memorise. With the help of Edge, the leader of the Errorists, Nilin seeks to restore her memory and take down the corporation.

Remember Me is an action-adventure game where players use "memory remixing" to alter and manipulate memories. The goal is to change how a target recalls a memory. Players can also engage in combat using customizable combos, which can be created and modified in the game's Combo Lab. There are four types of skill families available, including Pressens that offer different benefits such as healing or damage. As players progress through the game, they can develop special moves called S-Pressen, which grant unique abilities.

The game features over 50,000 possible combos, allowing for a high degree of customisation and replayability. Players can experiment with different combinations to create their own unique playstyle.
