Resident Evil Code: Veronica X is set five years after the events of Resident Evil 2 . Claire Redfield, the sister of Chris Redfield, has received a distress signal from her brother, who is being held captive on a remote island. Upon arrival, she discovers that the island is under attack by a group of monstrous creatures known as the "Giant Warriors", and that her brother is being experimented upon by the sinister Umbrella Corporation.

The gameplay in Resident Evil Code: Veronica X takes place on this same island, with Claire navigating through various environments, fighting off hordes of enemies and solving puzzles to uncover the secrets behind the mysterious forces at work. Players will have to manage Claire's resources carefully, using a limited amount of ammo and health, as well as making use of items and upgrades to aid her in battle.

Resident Evil Code: Veronica X was released for the Xbox 360 on September 27th, 2011 , offering fans of the series a thrilling and intense gaming experience that stays true to the spirit of the original Resident Evil games.
