The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky game follows two main characters, Estelle Bright and her adopted brother Joshua. They live with their father, Cassius, a renowned adventurer who belongs to an organisation called the "Bracers". The Bracers protect townspeople and complete dangerous tasks for money. When Cassius leaves, Estelle and Joshua take on various missions as part of the Bracers, which leads them into a complex web of deceit.
Gameplay involves turn-based combat, where you can move your party member around the battlefield to perform different attacks. This includes special moves called "Arts" and "Crafts", similar to those in other RPG games. There are also side missions related to the Bracers that can boost your skills and rank.
