Set in modern-day Japan, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable follows the story of a group of high school students who can summon powerful beings known as Personas to fight against Shadows. The protagonist, a transfer student, discovers he has the ability to see and communicate with these entities, and must navigate the complexities of his own identity while uncovering a sinister plot threatening humanity.
Gameplay in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable takes the form of turn-based battles against hordes of Shadows. Players control their Personas as they battle, using skills and abilities to whittle down enemy health. The game's social simulation elements allow players to build relationships with allies, recruit them to the party, and develop them through a complex web of interactions.
