Lowrider is a digital recreation of one of the US' most popular automotive subcultures. Classic cars are lowered to the ground, fitted with hydraulics, and painted up in all manner of flashy colors and liveries. You can choose from 18 different cars and compete in a contest against either the computer or another player.
The gameplay involves performing various tricks such as hopping, pancaking, juggling, and others to show off your skills. A custom paint feature allows you to personalize your car's appearance, while a soundtrack featuring southern crunk music (in the US release) or Japanese hip-hop music (in the Japan release) complements the racing action.
