Metal Slug on the Sega Saturn , originally released on the Neo Geo, is a side-scrolling action game.
The story follows the player as they take on the role of a soldier (or two) in a war against an enormous enemy army. Each level consists of running forward while blasting anything that moves and collecting power-ups along the way. The player also has access to a wide range of weaponry. At the end of each level, the player faces off against a massive boss.
