The story of Final Fight follows the character Guy as he tries to rescue his girlfriend Jessica from the clutches of M. Bison in Metro City. Along with his friend Cody, Guy must fight his way through hordes of enemies and take down Bison's powerful minions to save the city.

The gameplay in Final Fight is fast-paced action-packed, where you control either Haggar or Cody as they navigate through six levels, each with its own unique challenges. The game features a variety of attacks, special moves, and power-ups that can be used to take down enemies.

The US release of Final Fight had some notable differences from the Japanese version, including changes to enemy sprites, boss names, and even some minor gameplay tweaks. However, the overall experience remained largely the same as the original.

Final Fight Guy , a later release, offers a similar experience to the original but with one key difference: it features Guy as the second playable character instead of Cody. The game also includes some minor changes and improvements, such as increased difficulty level options and added power-ups.
