F1 Race Stars is a kart racing game based on the Formula 1 franchise. The game features all teams and drivers from the 2012 season, as well as two fictional teams. The available circuits are loosely inspired by their real world counterparts, but most of the tracks are fictional, with elements such as loops, jumps, traffic, and other obstacles.
The gameplay is similar to other kart racing games, with power-ups for individual advantage, and sabotage of opponents. The game also features online multiplayer through Codemasters's RaceNet, and local split-screen racing for a more personal experience.
