The Mass Effect Trilogy contains all three of the original games plus various DLCs depending upon the platform.

Story

Set in a futuristic universe, the trilogy follows Commander Shepard as they battle against the rogue Spectre Saren Arterius and later the Collectors. Shepard's mission to stop Saren ultimately leads them to the Geth, a rogue AI that threatens the galaxy.

Gameplay

The Mass Effect Trilogy is an action-packed RPG with a rich storyline, engaging characters and a variety of gameplay mechanics. Players can explore multiple planets, gather resources, and make tough decisions that impact the game's outcome. With a deep character customization system and an emphasis on player choice, the trilogy offers an immersive gaming experience.

The retail store version has a premium foil box featuring artwork of Commander Shepard. The games included here are compatible with the single game releases, for multiplayer in the third game for instance or for bringing over content between games. Of all the included content, only the PS3 version of the first Mass Effect was previously not available, but along with the release of this edition it was made available standalone as a download through Xbox Live (Xbox 360) and PlayStation Network.
