Story Overview
Coming from different backgrounds, Timon and Pumbaa had trouble fitting in with other animals. A chance meeting brought them together. As friends they set out to find a home where they could feel safe and happy.
After a long, tiresome and often dangerous process of trial and error, they settled in an oasis where they found a feeling called "Hakuna Matata". They also found a cub named Simba who they raised. Eventually, Simba had to leave to reclaim his kingdom.
Timon and Pumbaa realize that "Hakuna Matata" is in the people you love, and not where you live, so they leave their peaceful home and embark on a mission to help Simba.
Game Overview
Play as both Timon and Pumbaa, as you follow their story, which is comprised of 5 chapters, containing 25 action packed levels, 5 locked bonus, and 5 video clips from the Lion King 1 1/2 movie.
Title Screen
After the legal information, you'll see screens for Disney Interactive, Vicarious Visions©, Inc., and finally, The Lion King 1 1/2: Hakuna Matata. Press Start to proceed to the Main Menu.
Menu Controls
These are the buttons you need to press when you are on a menu screen.

B Button: Return to the previous screen
Main Menu
Use +Control Pad Up and Down to highlight one of the 3 New Game slots or Erase to delete an existing game. Press the A Button or Start to select.
New Game
When you start a new game, you will need to name the game. A screen will appear with the alphabet and a limited set of extra characters. Use the +Control Pad to browse through the characters.
Press the A Button to select three characters for your initials. Once all three slots are filled, you will be taken to the Level Selection screen.

Goals
Timon and Pumbaa are searching for a new home. You must guide them through their trials and tribulations as they deal with hyenas, loud partying elephants, rock slides, and wildebeest stampedes, to name but a few obstacles.
Player Moves
Timon and Pumbaa each have special skills and limitations. When they work together, nothing can stand in their way.
