Zegapain XOR is a 3D mecha action shooter based on the anime series Zegapain. Players take on the role of Toga Vital—a pilot of the Zegas—who must face off with other enemy mecha who are part of the malicious alien group known as Gards-Orm. The game incorporates a narrative that evolves alongside the events of the anime series.

The gameplay revolves around fast-paced 3D combat, where players can control their mech's movements and fire various weapons to take down enemies. Players also need to manage their mech's resources, such as ammo and health, to stay ahead in battle.
