As the night wears on, each member of the family falls asleep and is transported into their own personal nightmares, where they must fight to survive against various monsters and creatures. Marge faces a zombie apocalypse, Maggie becomes a deadly fly, Lisa battles cannibalistic teachers, Bart navigates a haunted house to rescue his dog, and Homer takes on three different roles: vampire killer, robot, and ultimately, Homer Kong.
