Sekigahara is set during the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600. The player commands Tokugawa Ieyasu's finest general as they march samurai and other units along roads across the map to defend friendly territories and fight against Toyotomi coalition invaders.
The gameplay involves moving units around a hexagonal grid, commanding divisions of men to attack enemy groups. Battles are tactical and require careful planning and strategy to emerge victorious.
