Umi no Nushi Tsuri 2 is a role-playing and fishing game. As in most RPGs, you can move freely in the city and visit others, talk to NPCs and buy things that will be mostly related to fishing. In order to fish, you will have to find a suitable spot and once you catch a fish, you can keep it and feed it. While walking you can make random encounters. You will be transferred to a different screen and you will have the choice of throwing things at the enemy to make them run away, or running to safety. However, the latter option leaves you vulnerable to the enemy as it will be possible for them to attack you and thus see your life bar depleted.
