Millipede is set in a garden where pesky insects are taking over and destroying plants. The player must use a bug zapper to shoot arrows at these insects, including millipedes, spiders, bees, dragonflies, and earwigs. With the help of the bug zapper, nature can be restored to its natural state.

The gameplay in Millipede is similar to its predecessor, Centipede , but with a new set of insects to battle. The goal is to destroy as many segments of the millipede as possible while avoiding other creatures and obstacles. As the player progresses through levels, the game becomes increasingly challenging. Special items like DDT can be used to take out multiple insects at once, adding an extra layer of strategy to the gameplay.
