About

Mr. Domino is an anthropomorphic domino piece who must constantly run forward to place other dominoes along a series of obstacle courses. In No One Can Stop Mr. Domino!, players control his movement to set up chain reactions that trigger various interactive stage hazards. He is accompanied by other playable domino characters, each with different speed attributes.
Developed by Artdink, No One Can Stop Mr. Domino! debuted on the PlayStation console in 1998, published by Acclaim Entertainment in North America and JVC Music Industries in Japan and Europe. The title character's design reflects the quirky, surreal aesthetic of late-1990s Japanese puzzle games. Mr. Domino navigates six distinct, looping environments, including a high-tech city, a crowded grocery store, and a colorful casino.
While the game did not spawn a long-running franchise, Mr. Domino and his companion characters—such as Miss Domino and the mischievous Bruce—gained a cult following for their bizarre visual presentation and the game's unforgiving difficulty. The soundtrack, composed by Takayuki Nakamura, complemented Mr. Domino's frantic pace with upbeat, electronic tracks. In 2011, the game was re-released digitally on the PlayStation Network in Japan, preserving Mr. Domino's legacy for a new generation of players. The character remains a notable example of Artdink's experimental game design during the original PlayStation era.
