Operation Darkness , a tactical role-playing game set during World War II, pits the Wolf Pack team of supernatural soldiers against the forces of Nazi Germany. The mission to retake Africa and take the fight to Berlin is fraught with danger from zombie Nazis, vampire Nazis, and other undead foes.
Gameplay offers a mix of unit movement, attack options, and special abilities. Players can also utilize cover tactics for combined attacks, covering fire, and faster movement. Between missions, supplies can be purchased and equipped, skills swapped out, and new missions selected. The game features replayable non-story missions that offer extra experience and equipment.
Online co-op multiplayer allows up to four players to team up against the Axis powers, each bringing three units from the campaign. Victories in this mode unlock new gear to purchase between missions, but experience earned is not carried over.
