Pepsiman is based on the Japanese Pepsi mascot who appeared in various commercials in Japan. In these ads, he would appear where people were thirsty, quench their thirst, and then injure himself most of the time.

The game follows this series of events as you run along stages collecting Pepsiman cans, while trying to avoid injury or public humiliation. The goal of every stage is to run along a set course, jumping or sliding out of harm's way and ultimately reach a vending machine with Pepsiman of course!

Pepsiman was released for the original Playstation on 4th March 1999.
